I used to be an emotional eater. When I had too much on my mind or I was feeling upset about someone or something, I would eat. The comfort I thought it provided, only gave me inches around my middle and even more emotional and physical discomfort. Now, when life weighs heavy on my mind, I walk. I find the fresh air is good for me and the movement gets the blood and creative juices flowing. As I walked through the park today, worrying about not reaching my goal weight, in time for Mexico, I said fuck it. I eat right, and I exercise everyday. I know there are challenges with gaining a more healthy lifestyle and I'll work on it at my own pace. I'm not going to wait to be happy while doing so. I'm going to be awesome anyway.
